Dawn’s Journey - 50 Pounds Down and Stronger Than Ever
Jan 22, 2026When Dawn first walked into Lifted Fitness, she was nervous. She didn’t know anyone, hadn’t stepped foot in a gym in years, and wasn’t even sure if she could do it. On top of that, she didn’t know how to work out or how to eat for her goals.
But Dawn took a step anyway. She committed to learning, trusting the process, and leaning into support when she needed it. She started with our nutrition coaching to understand what her body needed, and combined it with strength-training sessions tailored to her abilities.
Fast forward less than a year, and the results are incredible. Dawn has lost 50 pounds naturally, gained strength, and built confidence she never imagined possible. She didn’t rely on extreme diets or quick fixes; she committed to consistency, learning to enjoy training, and fueling her body for progress.
What’s even better? Dawn is still training with us, still learning, and still achieving new milestones every week. Her story is a reminder that you don’t need to be “ready” to start—you just need to start.
